Heater Box Redux

Just a heads up regarding my heater box. I was unable to find the parts I needed until I went to Long Island Corvette. I know that the experts on this site are already aware of this vendor, but I thought I would mention it for any newbies out there such as myself. They have a tremendous inventory (much more detailed than Ecklers, Paragon,etc.). You will have to have Adobe acrobat to download their

inventory on your PC, ....

... We went to Cypress Gardens in January for NCRS Flight judging. First time out - 2nd flight, but a great time. NCRS SHow on sunday we took Best of Show against 78 other Corvettes !! Very Proud!
We will be starting a frame off as soon as I can find what I want. As always you folks are my parts supplier!

I have had issues with Ecklers (rear leaf spring not a true replacement and having to send it back at my expense $40.00 for their mistake) and Corvette Central with a poor quality transmission rebuild kit.

I do business now with Long Island Corvette.

I use Corvette Central for my 62, and then wait for weeks and months for the parts to arrive from back order as Corvette Central seems to have fewer and fewer early model parts in stock.

you must be new by a matter of minutes, no offense but there are at least three "preferred vendor" type threads on the first two pages of recent forum topics right now.
but if you insist - LICS (80%), followed by (a tie) Doc Rebuild and Paragon, depending on the item.

LICS is my favorite. I always get my stuff within three days. My orders have always been complete and correct. Plus there catalog is great with all of the diagrams.

As for waiting for back ordered parts...I am in the process of restoring my 65 and Long Island Corvette supply has EVERYTHING in their catalog stock. I have yet to have to wait for a part from them.

I find them the best for any mid year parts...especially if you don't want to wait.

Long Island Corvette has always had good product. Dave
